Chapter Objectives
L.E.A.D. Them
- Lead our families in positive parenting and family service.
- Recruit an interfaith membership of 100 leaders to Utah Valley Chapter.
- Provide ongoing leadership training to chapter members.
- Build a strong chapter presidency and committee chairs.
- Become leaders in the community through service, education, and networking.
The primary focus of AMI is to train members to lead their families in each of the following areas. Secondarily, the Provo Chapter of AMI membership will serve as community leaders in the same following four areas.
L - LOOK
Family - Actively seek opportunities to serve within our immediate and extended families.
AMI - Actively research and seek opportunities to be involved in social service, social action and political engagement.
E - ENVISION
Family - Incorporate service planning and value training into weekly family meetings. Continually evaluate individual family relationships and plan service opportunities that will build each relationship.
AMI - Monthly AMI leadership meetings and ongoing committee interaction to plan social service, social action and political engagement.
A - ACT
Family - Involve each family member in service on a regular basis.
AMI - Regularly serve and educate our families, neighborhoods, city, state, nation and international community.
D - DISCUSS
Family - Incorporate value training as a part of family service.
AMI - Return and report, evaluate community involvement, and publicize all events to further our cause and objectives.
