Meeting Service Projects

Our chapter likes to multi-task and keep our hands busy doing service during our meetings.

Some of our meeting service projects have been:

  • Making recycled Christmas Cards
  • Coloring books for Humanitarian Services
  • Making balls for orphanages
  • Below are photos of a Doll House we painted and worked on during meetings that was donated to The Doll House Festival to raise funds for the Children’s Justice Center in Provo
  • Making patient dolls for Primary Children’s hospital

There is no end to the good women can do! As masters of multi-tasking, we are able to perform service as we meet to discuss ideas and improve ourselves as women and mothers. Our group seeks to have service present at each meeting. The projects we perform are as varied as our membership. We often have several projects going on simultaneously.

Women Without Borders

Cutting plastic grocery bags into yarn for African Women to crochet bags and sell to tourists:
    Women Without Borders Project
Women Without Borders links American service groups with African Women. The American service groups collect and cut plastic shopping bags into yarn like strings. The strings are then sent to women in Africa who are taught by missionaries how to crochet them into these attractive bags that are purchased by tourists for $20-$25. This joint effort has helped many women feed their families.
